Walking outside with Leica X1

Today was so beautiful weather here in Koivukylä, Vantaa that I thought that it would be a good idea to go for a small walk with my camera.

Since I have multiple cameras I decided this time to take Leica X1 with me. My Fujifilm X100F is on the bag in Riika, Latvia with my uncle. Of course he is not in the bag but instead he is on a visit in Riika where I shuld also be at this moment but things didn't went as excepted and I couldn't jump to the boat since my passport was expired and they didn't accept driver license there. Anyway I couldn't take that X100F with me because of that. I guess that I would have anyway wanted to take this Leica X1 with me today just for fun. It is fun to use different cameras different times so you can see how all the cameras have their own strenghts and weaknesses.

I love quality of the images this Leica X1 is able to produce in a good light. Photos are sharp, their color rendition is fabulous and overall feeling of those images are miracelous. I have came to impression that there really is something in Leica. I remember years ago when I had some phone where was optics from Leica that I felt that it was just great in terms of photo quality. It was different than my other cellphone cameras have been and still on this day I think it was best cellphone camera I have had, much better than on iPhones. Nowadays I have Nokia 3310 on my phone so the quality of that camera is not much to tell about.

On my walk I noticed that there is one coffee shop where I have not been previously. I have taken photos outside of it but this time it was open so I went in to take a cup of coffee.

That place was a pleasant surprise. Normally in this area there is not much of bars and coffee shops which are finer style, mostly here is places where you get cheap beer and karaoke. This was totally different. This place had at least some kind of sense of style.

I don't remember the name of this place and I don't have a picture where I could see its name, but it does not matter. This was nearby K-Citymarket Koivukylä. Service was good and coffee was as coffee should be. Good stuff. After the coffee I continued my walk and went to K-Citymarket.

After my visit on a shop inside the K-Citymarket I continued my walk and came back to home. It was a short trip but it was fun to go outside with camera. Leica X1 continues to impress me in general. Surely this coffee shop photo is not very good one, but in good situations Leica is able to take good photos and I guess that not in optimal situations it is still able to take good photos if photographer is better than I am in taking photos.

Only annoyances with this camera so far is quite slow auto focus. Of course that is not an issue on many situations, but from time to time it gets a little bit frustrating. Some other annoying things what I have noticed on this particular camera (not this model in general but this camera what I have) is that battery holder is broken as well as lens cover. I personally have broken them both so can't blame the camera on that. Broken battery cover causes an issue when I take my memory card away from camera. The battery does not keep in its position when I open the lid and therefore my camera date and time is resetted almost every time I take away the SD card since battery keeps losing its connection same time. Maybe I should put a tape or something there.
