Amazon woman Diana is living on an island with his tribe. One day a man comes there from another place what is unknown to her. Sadly many others as well is following him and they have not good intentions towards him. Diana and her tribe help this man in fight. Later Diana gets confident that war what is going outside of her living place is because of Artermis, God of War who has made humans follow him. Diana goes with this man away from her home island and so she can stop the evil plans of Artemis.

This is very straightforward action movie. Personally I like this movie very much and in my point of view it is one of the best superhero movies I have seen. It is surely full of cliches, it has not much depth and the fighting scenes are sometimes annoying because of too fast cuts, but all in all I like this movie a lot.

Story is interesting. Of course, it reminds me about the Bible and similarities can be seen easily (if you are a christian or you otherwise know well Bible). For example the meaning of love what Diana feels towards humanity is very similarly described as the love of Christ, and similarities of Artemis and Satan cannot be noticed either. Is this intentional or just pure coincidence it is hard to say, since battle between good and evil, hate and love is universal in general.

Whatever the case, this is just a purely fun movie what is easy to enjoy if you like superhero action adventures in general. If not then this might not be your cup of tea either.
