Review
Mighty Thor, son of Odin is becoming a king but there is an attack in their kingdom before he is crowned. His behaviour after the attack is something what true king should never and and his father sees before it is too late that Thor is not worthy of becoming a king. He will cast him and in exile to the earth where he is stuck until he will learn what it takes to become true king.
Same time there is problems in kingdom and it seems that there will be a war because of Thors reckless behaviour. There is traitors inside the kingdom and problems does not go away when Odin is falling to deep sleep and Loki, half brother of Thor, becomes a king of the realm. In the same time in earth Thor tries to get his mighty hammer Mjolnir to get his power back but he will first need to learn his lesson what it really takes to be worthy for having it.I had seen this once before and I liked it back then and it wasn't any worse on second watch. Story is enjoyable even tho the characters don't have too much depth, but it does not bother me in this kind of movie where more interesting things comes from main plot and nice CGI instead.
Like in too many other movies as well, this also had quite annoying cutting style on fast paced scenes. Cuts were so fast that on some fighting scenes it was probably less than a second from time to time before it was cut to another camera. This kind of cuts just annoys me because it makes you lose focus on what is happening to whom. It is just too restless.
Acting was good, story was uplifting, CGI was well made and most of the aspects worked well. Only negative side on this movie was too fast paced cuts in some fighting scenes, but gladly those scenes were so rare that those didn't ruined the movie.
Worth the watch.Review written: 2023-04-10
