Review
Somehow this movie reminded me more of movies like Lord of the Rings or Star Wars than other Marvel superhero movies. Maybe it was the gorgeous CGI what had same kind of vibes than those movies have or maybe it was Dark Elves what made me think more of fantasy movies, hard to say.
Story was interesting. There is Dark Elves who tries to destroy everything. There is some mystical element what gives strong powers and that element should have been stayed hidden, but for some reason or another it is found on earth. That power goes to Jane Foster and dark elves wants to get that out of her so they would be more powerful. As excepted Thor does not want that to happen and he and his friends attacks to their realm after they attacked to Asgard first. There is also same time happening event what will happen only once in every five thousand years and all realms are open to others same time what will cause great opportunity for dark elves to destroy everything at once if they will succeed.
I liked this movie. Especially the CGI was great and the whole movie felt more fantasy kind than other Marvel movies. All basic elements of movies were made well - acting, directing, story, sounds so you get what you except from this kind of movie. Surely there is not much depth in it, but in this kind of movies I don’t mind since these are just plain fun and entertaining.
Worth the watch.
