Review

French army soldier mets a mysterious woman on a beach. Lady disappears as fast as she appeared in the first place but the soldier wants to find her. His journey leads him first to the old house where is the old lady, one younger man and a bird but as he continue his journey he will find his way to castle of the Baron von Leppe. In the castle he will finds out unsolved tragedies and mysteries around those tragedies.

The Terror was quite interesting movie on some parts, but it have some absurdities as well in its story and on its characters. Story would have benfited if the characters would have been opened more. Who was this french soldier, why he was there? What has happened to him before? Why his rude and also otherwise strange behaviour was accepted on the castle? Lots of questions but not too much answers on this kind of faults of the characters.

Even it did not have the most interesting story or characters, it was still fun to watch. It is definitely not a masterpiece, but it was still enjoyable to watch (except the quality of the DVD release what I have).
