Review
Couple of Smurfs gets accidentally to New York through the portal what is open only when there is a blue moon when they are trying to escape Gargamel, the evil Wizard. They have to find their way back to Smurf Village. In New York they meet a couple and they become friends with them when they are figuring out how they can return to their home town.
I had previously seen only the Smurfs 2 what is the sequel for this movie in that sense that it have same characters. It would have been better of course to see these in correct order, but it was not that bad to see these in wrong order either.
I liked this story. It was heartwarming animated action comedy for whole family. There is character development and good and healthy teachings for the viewer as well what is a good thing in a movie what is made especially for kids.
Smurfs were mostly well blended to realistc scenarios in the movie, but from time to time it didn't felt that realistc, especially when main characters hugs the smurfs an scenes like that. Anyway, that is a small technical thing what could have been better, but in bigger picture all was looking good.
The Smurfs is a good movie with humour and lovely story what have healthy teachings for the kids and older viewers as well.
