Review

A young boy, Michael, meets an older woman and they have an affair for the summer. One day this woman, Hanna, disappears. Years later their paths cross again and Michael gets to know more about Hanna and what she has hidden from him.

I had seen this maybe over 10 years ago and I liked it back then, and it was still as great as years ago. Surely it tells me something already that I still had quite good memory about the plot of this movie and some scenes even it was long time ago when I had seen it. Many movies comes and goes and I forget almost everything in less than 5 years aout them, but good ones leave a mark that you don't forget easily.

Story is interesting, well built and it have many layers. The character of Hanna is fascinating and what later is revealed in story makes you wonder could you see signs of what is becoming in much earlier in the story. Her pride - or shame - causes issues for her, but she cannot tell the truth even it have consequences what is not in favor for her.

Also the short relationship of Michael and Hanna is good and how it shaped the life of Michael is just told great.

I liked this movie a lot.
