Review
A man is searching for a cure for the tumours in animal testings since his own wife is dying for the tumour. His wife is writing also a book, The Fountain and she wish that her husband will finish the book for her.
This was a beautiful and symbolic story about the life, death, love and a search for the eternal life. It is a beautiful and touching story with lots of metaphors and symbolism in it. Like many other movies by Aronofsky this also is something what just begs to be viewed multiple times since there is so much to think about.
Acting is excellent and they way main characters express their emotions is very touching. Visual style is beautiful and directing is excellent.
This was my first time to see this movie, but I immediately can tell that this is something what I want to see multiple times. This is an awesome piece of art.
