Review
There is a mysterious dark crystal in the castle where evil creatures are living. Somewhere outside the castle a gelflin called Jen hears from the wise and kind dying master that there is a prophecy and Jen should fullfill it. Sadly he does not give very clear explanations about what Jen should do, but Jen goes to the journey where he learns more about the prophecy and finds out also that he is not the only gelflin unlike he has always tought.
This was an interesting family friendly fantasy movie from 80's. Its story was fine, even tho it was very cliché and naive, but of course it does not matter that much when the movie is probably made for the whole family. Also it was very stereotypical about good and bad creatures - bad creatures always were ugly and bad even against each others, but good were kind and less ugly.
All in all this was nice movie if you think it as a family friendly movie.
