Review

There is a war going on where Necromongers wants to destroy and rule other races. Old propechy tells that in one race there is one who will kill the leader of the Necromongers. They have tried to destroy this race, but one man called Riddick have still survived so he is the threat they want to eliminate.

This movie was very bad in so many levels. Story and the history of events is not opened much so everything just feels random events, characters are distant and lack of any kind of emotion and there is not much told about them either.

Still the biggest issue for me was editing. It was so annoying to try to figure out what happens in fighting and/or action scenes since there was so much so fast cuts that everything felt like a totally piece of garbage. Terrible mess and barely watchable on those scenes. Camera shakes, cuts, shakes, cuts, closeups and cuts in short period of time that after the scene is over there are lots of dead all around but not much understanding what just happened. This is perfect example how to not do things.

I enjoyed the music of this movie. CGI also was working quite fine. Of course it can easily see that it is not that great by modern day standards but still those worked fine still. Color usage also was nice.

All in all, this is the movie what is hard to recommend. It is just a mess without any kind of emotion or depth.
