Review

Four young girls wants to go to Florida for a spring break to party and have good time. One of them, Faith, is a kind christian girl, and three others are totally different. They have been friends since their childhood but their lives have grown to different directions but they still have managed to stay friends. Before their spring break friends of Faith warns her about her friends, especially from two of them, but she does not take heed of their words. When they are on their spring break and they end up to jail Faith will start to see that this kind of life is not for her and return back to home.

Three of them stays with Alien, a rapper and a gansgter who paid them out of jail. They will commit crimes together and live their own version of American Dream with fatal consequences for many.

This movie have unique directing style and it works very well. Also the acting was excellent as you might except for these actors.

For me this movie feels like a critique of demoralized western youth culture where shallow life does not fullfill peoples search for a meaning. Twisted version of an American Dream what Alien and other gangsters seem to live is a path out of ordinary lifestyle for these girls, but it does not fullfill either. Girls as well as Alien and other gangsters are just stuck on their own spring break forever where everything is just a sex, drugs and partying, committing crimes and having shallow life without need to ever grow up to take responsibility of anything - until hard reality comes and shows its ugly face to the seekers of better life from wrong places with wrong ways.

This movie is a masterpiece. I have seen this alerady twice before this time and on this third watch it still felt that it is much much better than most of the movies I have seen.
