Review

Young girl and a boy gets robbed from their mother. They end up in slavery and their mother ends up as a courtesan. When they get older they want to escape to meet their mother and father again, but all does not go as well as planned and tragedies cannot be dodged.

This was a beautiful but sad story. Life spent imprisoned affects so the moral compass does not always follow the path of righteousness, but in the end memories and teachings of the father help young man to turn his ways.

I liked this movie. It was visually beautiful and some scenes were so photographic that you could just pause the video and enjoy the beauty of the view as a photo as well.
