Review
Max is a 15 year old boy who is studying in Rushmore. His studying is not going very well and his time goes more in lots of different kind of school clubs instead. Rushmore gets a new teacher to whom Max fell in love with. He also gets a friend who is an adult man, father of two students in his school. Sadly that older man also gets interested to this teacher and Max and he start to fight over her. Max school life is not going well either and he gets kicked out of school so there is challenges to get this teacher to fall in love with him.
This was a lovely comedy. It have interesting story about growing up, having unhealthy obsessions, lying and finally seeing that being real and authentic is enough.
Humor in this movie is funny in its dryness and it made me laugh many times. Moments and events are sometimes very absurd, in similar way than Wes Andersons other movie The Royal Tenenbaums.
Rushmore is a great movie what deserve to be seen multiple times.
