Review

Two sisters have very different lifes. Claire is married with a wealthy man and they have a young kid and they are living on a mansion quite stable life. Another one, Justine, is just getting married but her melancholia and depression makes things bad immediately even on her wedding party and her life is not stable at all. There is a planet, Melancholia what rumors tell will hit the planet earth. Claire is worried about it but her husband tries to make she understand that there is nothing to worry about. It turns out that her husband does not kow everything and things takes a different turn and all persons have to face the fact that the end is coming soon. Some take it well, some take it bad and some even can't face the truth.

I had seen this movie once before and I liked it back then and nothing has changed, I still liked this movie. It is a fascinating but somehow sad movie with interesting characters and good directing. I liked how characters and their personalities are shown on different situations and how they behave. Most of the characters shown are lacking of love but instead all of them are self centered and wants something from others. Justine is tired on it and she sees the ugly side of others on her wedding day. She is no better either tho and her attitude to her sister is also quite cruel on her words even her sister has tried to do all for her before to help her to get on her feet and out of depths of melancholy.

This movie is great movie and worth the watch multiple times.
