Review
Interesting and enjoyable sports movie.
Indians is a baseball team what isn’t won major league in tens of years and nobody is beliveing them and possibility of their win. New owner of the team wants to move the team to another city for her personal reasons since she wants to move away from the town. She makes a plan that Indians should be the worst team in league since if there is no enough people going to watch the games there is no legal reasons against the moving of the team. Team is not playing very well, but not as badly as excepted and wished for. When they hear about the secret plan they will decide to give their best and win the league.
This was quite good movie from 80’s. Story is fine even I have seen similar kind of stories before, but I can’t remember if those movies are made later or before this. Maybe later?
Acting was good, music and the vibe in general had nice 80’s style what was refreshing to see in 2023. I also liked how well the directing was done. There was no hurry in scenes and everything just works. Simple relationship plot also was made ok since there was at least some kind of growing in character.
In the end this was enjoyable sport movie what I liked.
