Review
A poem called "Howl" has caused controversy because of its impure language and style and there is a court case against the publisher because of it.
This was an interesting movie since it shows how different kind of world has been previosuly even not so long ago. The freedom of expression in written form and the battle against and for it in a court when the content is seen as filthy and impure is thought provoking. How far censorship should be allowed if any? What defines and makes a good and/or important book and who are the judge to judge what is is art and what should be able to publish in the end?
Story was told well in this movie. The balance between the scenes of interviews, poem reading, court case and animations was very good and the story was developing in good pace also same time giving the contexts for the viewer in life of the poet.
All in all, this was a good movie.
