Review
A criminal man escapes people who try to kill him. He finds a castle where is two young woman. He decides to stay there until dark so he can escape his followers. In his time in castle he finds out that at the night there will be coming more women and he gets interested what they are going to do there at night time. He will find out that women have planned a ritual and they need a sacrifice since they are vampires who needs blood.
If you have seen previously some other Jean Rollins vampire films, this is many ways similar - a slow paced film from beginning to end, quite shallow story and characters, slow cuts, not much action, nude females there and there and somehow even humorous looking things what makes me wonder if those are mistakes or not. For example, sometimes it seems that there is darker in that place where scene happens, but on next cut there is more light so that kind of techincal strangeness seems to be there.
All in all I don't find those elements as a bad thing, it is refreshing to see sometimes totally different kind of movies where not everything is perfect. I assume that Fascination is a strange films for many movie viewers and it is hard to recommend to those who are not either a fan of vampire movies in general or whom like somehow B-class movie vibes.
For me this was quite ok movie since I like to watch smaller budget movies or at least movies that feel like those and I also enjoy vampire movies in general.
