Five kids who are left to stay at home together for the summer when their mom goes to Australia gets a surprise when their mom have hired old lady as a babysitter. Bigger surprise is still yet to come since the babysitter dies and they have to survive on their own through the summer.

This is a fun, symphatic and energetic story about growing up and taking responsibility in life. The more mom is away on the trip the more the oldest one, 17 year old Sue Ellen, becomes more like their mom when she gets responsibilities of adulthood.
