Review
A woman called Carolina is working on a tv channel on a date program, but her own romance life is quite quiet. She have a very good friend, but she don't seem to understand that this man, Albert, a writer, is keen on her. Carolina meets a man on her work, but he does not seem to fit to her family same way than her best friend Albert fits. Finally she will see how the love of her life is closer than she thought.
This movie is on some parts very typical romantic movie with all cliches typical to that genre - love is closer than you except kind of style, but at the same time it have nice fresh elements as well. This time the family of the lady is the key element. Her family is somehow strange for many, annoying to her and for many others as well, but still it important for her and what makes her who she is.
On some level the strangeness of the family reminds me about a movie called "Little Miss Sunshine", even though these movies are totally different. Still the family dynamics is there and the family is more or less more realistic than what we normally see in the movies. It is broken, it has issues, but still it is the glue what keeps others togehter.
I liked this movie. It had a good story and it had totally random and unexcepted turns there what was a nice twist. This was also cliche enough to be enjoyable when you want basic safe romantic love story, but still fresh enough that it was not boring at all.
