Review

Fun and entertaining movie about traveling the world around in 80 days.

Famous but not very well respected inventor makes a bet that he can travel around the world in 80 days after others provocate him enough. He gets a mate to help him but this sidekick have other motives for going on a trip. On their trip they also find a artist lady who joins with them on a journey and together they will have a interesting journey.

Story is well known and it works well. Characters have personas, acting is good and comical parts are plain and simple to make me laugh. This kind of movies should still be made more, to have just a memorable and enjoyable movie without too much depth but still enough to keep you happy.

This was also refreshing to look on 2023. It reminded me about an era when Disney movies were just fun and enjoyable entertainment without pushing annoying woke narrative and propaganda. So much is lost in 20 years, but hopefully some day Disney and Hollywood will return back to just making movies without total political BS. It was also fun to look from VHS using CRT TV.

This was a good movie and I enjoyed it.
