Review

A young woman sees nightmares about the man called Freddy Krueger and those dreams are far too real, especially because those are nightmares. Soon she find out that others have seen same nightmares about this man and later she hears that her mother also seem to know who is this man and also the history of him.

Like many of other 80's horror movies this also feels more like a thriller or so. It is not scary, but it is entertaining. Of course if I would have seen this when I was a kid then surely this would have been scary, but as an adult this feels mostly like a enjoyable teen horror flick what is just fun and entertainign with "should be spooky but not so spooky anyway in current era of living" -elements.

This is well made movie, it has nice soundtrack and visual style. Later we have seen movies like Scream or I know what you did last summer and I think both have got at least some of inspiration from movies like A nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th or others 80's teen horror flicks.

40 years after its release this stll feels entertaining and worth the watch multiple times.
